Tuesday's save marked his 329th in his career, putting him on par with Francisco Cordero in 17th place on the All-Time list. If he secures two more saves, he will surpass John Wetteland and move into 16th place, just 10 saves away from Rollie Fingers (341) in 15th place.
The southpaw currently holds a 4.18 ERA for the season with a 1.45 WHIP and a 91:39 K:BB ratio across 56 innings. With David Bednar and Dennis Santana delivering scoreless innings before him, Chapman may need to improve his performance to retain his role as the team's closer.

Both pitchers are crucial from the bullpen for Baltimore as they prepare for the 2024 postseason.

While Blanco may not see much action in the field for the Royals, he maximizes his exceptional speed when tasked with running the bases.
