Against the Yankees, Cionel Pérez closed out the win 7-2.

Cionel Pérez ended the Orioles' 7-2 victory over the Yankees with style, giving the team a 3-1 series victory. In the ninth inning, Perez relieved Jacobb Webb, completing a perfect inning with two strikeouts on 13 pitches, 8 of them strikes. This year, Cionel has pitched in three games with two innings, two strikeouts, and an ERA of 9.00 after allowing two runs without recording an out in his first outing against the Angels last March 30.

One hit for Jorge Soler on Thursday.

On Thursday, Jorge Soler went 1-for-4 in the Giants' 3-1 victory over the Red Sox. As Soler seeks to improve his offensive form, he has only three hits in his last 25 at-bats with a homer and eight strikeouts. With five home runs and eight RBI in his first year with the Giants, Soler is slashing .212/.302/.381.

Against the Nationals on Thursday, Adolis García was 1-for-4.

In a 6-0 victory over the Nationals on Thursday, Adolis extended his hitting streak to four games. The 1-for-4 performance with a strikeout left him with an offensive line of .292/.349/.566 with 8 homers and 25 RBI.

In an offensive slump, Yordan Alvarez.

There can be no doubt that Yordan Alvarez is in the midst of his worst offensive performance of the season. In an 8-2 victory over the Guardians, the Cuban outfielder and designated hitter went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts, repeating his Tuesday' performance against Cleveland. As of now, he has gone 0-for-17 over his last four games and his offensive line continues to deteriorate with a .244/.312/.439 line and a seven home run and 18 RBI total.
