55 NS: José Adolis García wins NS MVP after great year

Tiger’s outfielder José Adolis García had a phenomenal 2015-16 season, and he was rewarded for his hard work by winning the Cuban National Series Most Valuable Player Award.

José Adolis became the first player in franchise history to win the NS MVP Award.

At 23 the Ciego’s outfielder was huge for his team, and his numbers consolidated his position as one of the youngest prospect in Cuban baseball. Despite not having great protection in the lineup, José Adolis hit .315 and led the NS in RBIs (71).
