MLB releases schedule for the World Baseball Classic 2017

The full schedule for the 2017 World Baseball Classic, which begins on March 6, 2017, has been released by Major League Baseball (MLB)

Team Cuba will play in the Tokyo first-round pool (Pool B), and they'll be competing against Japan, China, and Australia.

Cuba's first game will be againt two-time champion Japan, on March 7 at 5 a.m. Eastern time, 7 p.m. local time, in the opening game for Pool B, which will be played at the Tokyo Dome

The tournament begins March 6 in Seoul, South Korea, with Israel making its debut against Korea at 7 p.m. local time for Pool A. The other two teams in that Pool are Chinese Taipei and the Netherlands.

Pool C will be playing at Marlins Park in Miami, and on March 9 at 6 p.m. ET, defending champion Dominican Republic takes on Canada. Puerto Rico and Team USA are the other two teams in this pool.

On March 9 in Jalicsco, México, Italy will face the host country at 8 p.m. local time. The other two teams included in Pool D are Puerto Rico and Venezuela.

MLB Network is the exclusive English-language network and ESPN Deportes is the exclusive Spanish-language network of the World Baseball Classic. Each will air all games of the 2017 WBC in the United States.
